Swan Press, Leeds again

Another delicate little pamphlet from this press. No printer’s ornament on this one.

Sydney Matthewman (1902-1970) took over a jobbing printer and re-formed it into private press, often using  “Princess” type and hand made paper.  Throughout the 1920s Matthewman was especially associated with the poetry scene in Leeds, as well as in London.
