I love these so I purchased a second one! In this issue Clare Leighton, who was or became the partner of the editor and lived with him for a number of years, features strongly both in the booklet itself and in the portfolio, with a couple of lovely wood engravings there plus a drawing. Elizabeth Rivers also has a couple of engravings included in the booklet. All in all an enjoyable read and £25 well spent, despite 2 of the 12 portfolio items being missing. By chance I was able to buy one of the missing ones on eBay, by Hester Holman. She fell off her horse when out riding, or hunting, and was killed around 1934, and there was a memorial exhibition of her mixed art work shortly afterwards. So just the one is missing now.
