Porpoise Press Broadsheet

The Porpoise Press was part of the Scottish literary revival of the 1920s, based in Edinburgh and aiming to publish mainly Scottish literary talent.  Faber and Faber took it over in 1930 and it was abandoned in 1939.  Printing was done elsewhere, in the case of the innovative broadsheet series by William Hodge and Co. More details available in a monograph about the press : Alistair McCleery, 1988, published by Merchiston Publications, Edinburgh. 978-0951126615
