Brewhouse Press and the Leicestershire revival

In the 1970s Leicestershire became a hub of private press activity, rather as Hammersmith had been round the 1900s. Centred round the Leicestershire College of Art –  J H Mason was there, a great hand paper maker, who published a lot of books about that art.

Brewhouse Press of Wymondham was a key player in that revival. Run by Trevor Hickman from 1962-1983 with the first book out in 1964.
